Nestled within the confines of the historic Silverstone racetrack, the Silverstone Museum emerges as a beacon of fascination for motorsport enthusiasts and history aficionados alike. This new visitor attraction finds its home within the last remaining Second World War Wellington Bomber hangar, a space meticulously refurbished and expanded to encompass a sprawling 4,000 m2 area. This vast canvas provides the perfect setting to immerse visitors in the adrenaline-fueled world of racing history and technological evolution.
As the appointed graphics contractor, the Media Powerhouse Group, working in tandem with Elmwood Projects, embarked on a monumental task: to transmute the hangar into a vibrant and interactive exhibition space. The enormity of the venue necessitated a comprehensive graphic solution encompassing over 2,500 m2 of print and experience graphics. This included crafting internal and external wayfinding signage crucial for guiding visitors through the labyrinthine marvels of the exhibition.
