As demand grows for large-scale live and corporate events, so does the pressure on our warehouse. Our Event & Scenic division is scaling quickly, and we’re now recruiting a full-time AV Warehouse Prep Technician to support technical builds and equipment handling at our St Albans HQ.
This hands-on role is central to getting AV gear event-ready, tracking rental stock, and ensuring fast, safe turnaround between jobs. You’ll work closely with warehouse leads, technical teams, and delivery crews to keep our kit moving smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Our warehouse supports high-output scenic and technical builds. As a Prep Technician, you’ll:
-
Prep and test AV rental kit ahead of jobs
-
Check returns, re-shelve equipment, and log faults
-
Use rental software to track gear and manage kit lists
-
Support vehicle loading and unloading
-
Assist with minor repairs, servicing, and stock handling
-
Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse
-
Communicate with project managers, admin, and workshop teams
You may also occasionally assist the Systems Integration warehouse depending on job flow.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be reliable, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who:
-
Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Works well with kit lists and job sheets
-
Has basic AV knowledge or warehouse experience
-
Is happy to handle equipment and learn rental software
-
Takes pride in maintaining a safe, tidy workspace
A background in AV rental is ideal, but not essential. Training will be provided.
