Earlier this month The ING Arena in Brussels hosted over 6,000 attendees for a leading global wellness brand’s European Convention. Spread over three show days and a separate celebration event, the programme included keynotes, product launches, training segments, and live recognition moments.
Media Powerhouse was appointed by Rotate Studios & Events to deliver the full video system, managing flown LED, IMAG screens, camera feeds, playback, and switching control. The system had to meet a series of technical, operational, and safety demands within an eight-day install and show window.
The brief reflected the scale and complexity common to large-format European productions. It required clear engineering, structured delivery, and detailed sequencing across departments and shifts. We worked across day and overnight crews to keep the install on track, with final checks and programming completed ahead of schedule.
LED Coverage Designed for Venue Scale and Sightlines
The LED package totalled 240 square metres, using 3.9mm Unilumin Utile3 flown from the arena grid. The system featured:
- Main screen: 10m x 4m, set centre stage for primary content
- LED cube: Four-sided design suspended above the audience, 24m total length by 3.5m height, used for ambient graphics, stings, and IMAG relay
- IMAG corners: Four 6m x 3.5m screens placed around the arena to support sightlines from all seated positions
- On-stage totems: Four vertical displays at 2m x 4m, used for countdowns and brand loops
Each LED element was planned to ensure clear visibility, timed content playback, and consistent colour representation across all angles.
Playback was controlled through a dual Millumin Extream server system, with timecoded cues and live adjustments managed from a backstage position. Barco E2 Gen 2 units were used for screen switching and signal routing, supported by a dedicated rack for DSM and downstage feeds.

Live Broadcast, Fibre Routing, and Signal Control
The venue required a 10-camera broadcast setup, operated from our custom built PPU system. Positions included fixed fibre-connected cameras, PTZ units, and handhelds for roaming coverage. All feeds were monitored live and mixed for IMAG output, stage relay, and on-screen content synchronisation.
Fibre routing totalled more than 1,200 metres across the arena. Cable paths were designed to avoid audience areas, using overhead catwalks and floor traps to maintain safety and access. Technical sign-off was handled with the venue team to confirm install integrity and meet regulatory requirements.
Signal switching and camera control were fully integrated into the production workflow. Tally, comms, and DSM channels ran from the same operating racks, giving the crew real-time feedback and direct control throughout the show.
Precision Delivery Under Pressure
Several install zones overlapped with other contractor teams, including staging, lighting, and FOH services. This made coordination essential across the build. LED, camera, and playback crews worked to pre-defined zones and scheduled access times, avoiding conflict and ensuring power and control systems could be rigged to plan.
Venue access was restricted at points due to parallel bookings in adjacent halls. To combat this, we adopted a rolling shift system with scheduled task handovers to keep momentum across the rig. All LED structures over audience areas were completed and signed off within 48 hours of site arrival.
By the time show programming began, all systems had been tested, signal paths verified, and content loaded. The event ran to schedule, with live switching, camera relay, and screen outputs running consistently across the entire show period.

A Standard of Delivery Built on Experience
This delivery involved over 240 square metres of LED, a 10-camera broadcast system, and more than a kilometre of fibre routed across a working arena. Each element was coordinated within an eight-day schedule, with structured day and night shifts, timed crew handovers, and pre-built cue lists to keep show programming on track.
Live feeds, media playback, and switching were managed in real time through a dual-server and PPU setup, run from backstage and operated throughout the show window without disruption. Signal routing and camera control were integrated into a central workflow, allowing consistent operation across all zones.
This level of delivery is typical of the scale we support across UK and European live events. From LED rigging and fibre drops to live switching and show-day operation, we provide a full system that’s built to specification, works under pressure, and supports every part of the client brief.
Collaboration with Rotate Studios & Events
Rotate Studios & Events provided event direction and oversight throughout the process. Their team delivers high-quality video content and event production for clients across the UK and Europe.
We were brought in to deliver the full technical video system, working alongside their team to plan, install, and operate LED, camera, and playback systems throughout the event.
Supporting production partners on large-format shows is a core part of our work. Our focus is on delivering the technical infrastructure that enables the wider project to run to plan.
